untitled

I like strolling thru the different blogs, and "following" ones that spark my interest. I just figure that if they have something interesting to say now... they will probably have something fairly interesting to say later, and I want to read about it then... or at least have the option to.

Then there are those that spark my interest, and then I lose the url before I get a chance to follow it. I have been watching this one blog for a while now, just waiting for another post... not a thing for weeks now. Makes me wonder whats going on with them. Funny actually being concerned about blogger strangers. Hey, they're people too right?

Its those ones that say, "sorry I haven't blogged in so long, blah blah blah," as thou they are obligated to blog. Yes, you are letting me down by not blogging. Ha ha. Life goes on if you don't blog. A tad bit more boring, but it leaves room for new blogs to be added to my list.

Right now I have a about a dozen. Mostly for entertainment purposes only. Something to do to pass the time. A  little tidbit into someone elses life. Makes you feel connected in someway. Maybe they're right, its is a small world after all. Makes you wonder about the whole, six degrees of separation thing. Could we all really be that connected in this great big world? If that's true, why are so many people so lonely and depressed. Are we not surrounded by interesting and entertaining people all the time.

Have you ever "people watched".  A favorite past time I'm sure. All the people passing by, with lives and worries all their own. Watching buses and planes, wishing that I could just hop on one and go where ever it leads. Talk to the stranger next to me, and learn something new in this life. No one really takes the time anymore. Always somewhere to be, something to do. Watching the clock is one of the most hated things to do. Time watching only makes you wish for more hours in the day.

So I'm taking time today... to reach out and connect with someone. Connect on a real level. Asking more than just how their day is going. How is your life going? Whats new in your world? Send me your address, I will send you a postcard. Life's too short to be so damn busy.

Call me, we'll do lunch... or at least a stroll in the park. I will tell you about my yesterdays, you tell me about your tomorrows. We'll live to die another day.
