Took the kids to watch the sunset and have a little fun with my camera! Im still learning the ins and outs. I wish it came with a manual. I know I can find one on google but its not the same when I am out in the field. I like to take pictures... does that make me a photographer?

After five long months of silence between my sister and I, the day has finally come for us to bury the hatchet. What better day than a beautiful day at the beach??

Celebrated my nieces birthday! Hung out with my family, and enjoyed a perfect day at the beach! How could you ask for more?

Talking pictures

Hello World. Since my aunt gave me her iphone (thanks aunty) I hardly get the chance to get on the computer. Its just not the same as sitting here and typing. So you know about my mobile blog right? Its straight from my iphone about what I pass on a daily basis. I sign, a car, a flower. Whatever the case maybe. Then I downloaded the twitter app. I signed up a while ago, but it was never convenient and I became discouraged. So now I write or "tweet" more often to an unknown audience. At least this site allows me to see if anyone even reads this thing. I got a comment once. Just once. Thou, this is really for me to look back on. For my husband to look back on. For any of their interested family etc. My brother "found" my blog. Both of them he said. I laughed. I never thought I was hiding them or keeping it a secret. He advised me that I should take down an earlier post. I thought about it, then realized that its no different than writing a journal or diary. Do you rip out a page of your diary. Does deleting it make it happen any less. Am I really saving my self any heartache by deleting it? I will read it next month and still feel the sting. A little less I'm sure, but it helps to look back and see what we have been thru. See how far we have come. What we have accomplished. Instagram is addictive too. I don't like to post the same thing on both FB and instagram. I have enough pictures to go around. Follow me!!

First Day of Summer

The days are noticeably longer now and the kids are officially on Summer Break!   My sons will be in Middle School as I attempt to potty train the toddler. Guess life is constantly full of new things. The only constant is that things will always change. I am beginning to feel a little insignificant and its not a feeling I enjoy very much. Lots of malice thoughts and chain smoking. Maybe he will come around. Maybe I will. But between the two of us, I'm the stubborn one. I cant be held accountable for my actions done in anger. Or at least that is what I keep telling myself. So I am going to try not to be angry and enjoy summer. For what its worth, someone is benefiting from all the attention. Even if it isn't me. Another day gone. Hello Summer... can I have my tan back please? Sincerely, Neglected Mom.

Reconnect

Good morning. It is 9am on this beautiful Thursday morning. I havent  been able to really sit and write lately. Coming back from our vacation which was over a month ago now and I am still trying to regain my ground. It was an awesome vacation, if I do say so myself. We reconnected with old friends and family and I got to put faces to the names J has been throwing around for 3 years. I know it was good for his soul. Our daughter got to meet her Great grandmother as well as her Great grandfather. She loved every minute of it as did I. The days of course passed all too quickly and our goodbyes were bittersweet. J and I celebrated our anniversary in the keys complete with champagne and amazing food. Shout out to Chef Michael's in Islamorada, Awesome food and great service! Our lovely host in the keys were outstanding. J's best friend, wife and two young kids to keep my little one company. They were so gracious and warm, it was like staying with a sibling. Our only regret was not being able to see everyone on our list. However we did come pretty darn close. Sorry Shonna and E! When it comes down to it, it was nice to see who your true friends really are. We learned that we still have and always had many.

Vaycay

We are having such a great time on vacation. Florida has been good to us!! Spending time with old friends and new family. Slow down time, we aren't done yet!

The writing is on the wall

It has happened... a year and a half years old and she has found that the wall was a much more enticing than the boring blank paper or coloring books that we throw her way. Caught red handed she found the tip of broken crayon and pinched between her finger tips she wanted to complete her masterpiece. I say its a flower... what do you see??
